If you are unable to visit on Saturday and are in serious need of some necklaces or other items made by mer, you might be able to make an appointment (limited times may be available) to see me on 12/11 or 12/12 while I am still in Philly (I might be able to come to you).

Redwood Library and Athenæum

50 Bellevue Avenue

Newport, RI 02840-3292

December 1, 2017 to February 28, 2017

Four large ink drawings were chosen to be a part of a show of master drawings in the lovely gallery at the Redwood Library in Newport, RI.
Curated by Benedict Leca, the show includes artwork by many artists from the Renaissance through the 1700s, including Fragonard, Oudry (as well as many others) and includes three contemporary women artists with a very different take on drawing.
The Redwood Library and Athenæum is the oldest lending library in America, and the oldest library building in continuous use in the country. Founded in 1747 by forty-six proprietors upon the principle of "having nothing in view but the good of mankind," its mission continues over 250 years later. (text from their website)

Admission: $10 adults, free for students and visitors under 18
Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month

Installation continues!

I created my largest wheat paste project to date spanning 10 buildings in June 2013 as a part of “OccupyING the Present.” This installation has been slowly eroding but continues on, see how it has changed over the past year.
